2026 Chevrolet
Trax
Drivers love the award-winning Trax, which holds its spot as Chevrolet’s second-most popular crossover (behind the Equinox). This success comes from a combination of meaningful value, tasteful styling, and efficient turbocharged power. Despite the Trax being the automaker’s entry-level vehicle, it looks and drives like much more, coming with heated front seats, a sunroof, and a good-sized infotainment touchscreen. For 2026, the Chevrolet Trax keeps this appealing formula with a wide trim range. It also gets a suite of advanced safety technology, including automatic emergency braking. This five-seat subcompact crossover presents a comfortable interior with flexible cargo space as well.
Among model year 2026’s changes, the LT is now eligible for the Midnight Edition Package (blacked-out grille, fascia, side mirrors, roof rails, and alloy wheels) for a trendy look. The rest of the lineup has some new paint choices, with Apex Red replacing Crimson Metallic on the LS, 1RS, LT, and 2RS and White Sands taking the place of Nitro Yellow Metallic for the 1RS, 2RS, and Activ.
